What are missed calls costing you?
A shop that misses twelve calls a week, closes thirty percent of what it answers, and averages $450 a job is losing about $7,000 a month in work it never got to quote. Not all of that comes back. Move the sliders and see your own number.
Your numbers
Rough is fine. Pull the first two off your phone log if you want it exact.
After hours, weekends, and any time the office line was already busy.
Of the calls your team does pick up, how many become a paying job.
Your typical invoice, not your best month.
Not all of them. Some callers hang up on any automated system, and some are spam or wrong numbers. 70% is the honest default.

What this assumes
The math runs conservative on purpose. A calculator that promises the moon doesn't convince anyone who's run a business for fifteen years.
- A month is 4.33 weeks, not four.
- Missed calls close at the same rate as answered ones. In reality after-hours emergency calls often close higher, so this understates the loss.
- Only 70% of missed calls are recoverable by default. Some callers will not talk to an automated system, and some of what you are missing is spam.
- No credit for the follow-on value of a captured customer: repeat work, maintenance plans, referrals. This counts the first invoice only.
- Figures are an estimate built from your inputs, not a guarantee of results.
